Balmain is releasing a second and more affordable line called "Pierre Balmain" but it won't be available until December. This line will be created by a
separate design team from Olivier Rousteing, who is the successor of the
high-end "Balmain" label. From these three looks I think they're hideous... They look like some cheap clothes from Target or Walmart. Personally, I think Balmain should be focusing on its main line which who knows where the future is going to be after the departure of Christophe Decarnin. I'd rather buy some 'inspired' version from Zara than from this defused line.
I changed my mind. I once posted about Celine Phantom bag as my wish list, but now I've decide to stay with the original Celine Luggage bag. I know I'm supposed to save money but my first paycheck in America would go to this...
If you're struggling with the question "Who am I meant to be?", this quiz may help you figure out what really defines you. Based on personality science, Anne Dranitsaris, PhD has identified seven "striving styles," modes of thought and behavior that direct us to seek satisfaction in different ways. Although everybody is wired with all seven styles, most people have one that dominates. When you engage this innate style, you've got the best shot at fulfilling your potential; when you don't, you can feel stuck. SOURCE
It's official !!! I finally quit my job to relocate back to San Francisco. It's been quite an interesting 2 years living in Bangkok but deep down in my heart I've never felt I fit in here; I could if I tried... but I didn't want to. I don't know where this road will lead me to but I know there is somewhere and someone I love waiting for me.
I don't know how you feel about this Louis Vuitton's new core value campaign with Angelina Jolie but I think it's weird. It's kinda an oxymoron to use the poor (and poor country) to promote luxury product. And the description of the video is even weirder -
"Core Values celebrates Vuitton's timeless classics in real situations on 'real' people - meaning celebrities rather than models - and runs alongside their seasonal 'fashion' campaigns."
Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2011 campaign - shot by Steven Meisel; starring Liya Kebede, Milou Van Groesen, Carla Gebhart, Juliane Grüner and Liisa Winkler. Love it...
Someone once said to me I shouldn't wear Black and Blue together and my answer is "Why not?"
(From top to bottom: Hermes, PRADA, Dries Van Noten, YSL, Louis Vuitton)
I had a very good dinner with friends last night but when I came home, my throat got very dry from the effect of MSG. That's mean... the food really wasn't good ! (It happened a lot in Thailand and I hate it.)
Rem Koolhaas and his team at OMA redesigned runway for PRADA S/S 2012 menswear collection. 600 visitors were seated on individual blue foam blocks distributed over a 1.5m x 1.5m grid throughout the entire space of the hall. These seating provides the audience with a front-row view for the entire space, no bad spot.
Where should I begin with Dior Fall 2011 Couture ? This is the first show of Dior Couture without Mr. Galliano and it was a disaster. The clothes are strange - and not in a good way - and lack of cohesiveness. It started off with look-like left over design of Galliano, then turned Gucci-hippy chic and closed off with piñata inspired gowns. I wanna cry...
Today is the election day in Thailand after so many politicalturmoils. I don't think this election will stop the protestors from either side, but it will show where this country is heading to...
