There have been so many changes in fashion industry in the last 4 months.
- First, the infamous John Galliano was fired from Dior and his own label. No one was named the head of the designer at Dior yet but most likely would be Ricardo Tisci of Givenchy. If this is true, it would leave an empty slot at Givenchy.
- Olivier Rousteing steps in at BALMAIN after Christophe Decarnin checked himself in for treatment for depression.
- Patrick Robinson was just let go from GAP, which he tried to revive the brand but unsuccessful. (This surprises me a little bit because Mr. Robinson is one of Anna Wintour's circle, which usually he would make it.)
If you're lucky to be in New York right now, you've got to see Alexander McQueen's exhibition: SAVAGE BEAUTY at The Met museum. The exhibition will run from May 4 - July 31, 2011. I remembered one time I visited his boutique in NY and was thinking to myself "Wow, I feel like I walk in a museum." Now, I only wish I was in NY right now... SOURCE
