Paris and its mysteries... For centuries, the most wonderful intrigues have been woven in the Louvre, a haven of culture and history. An intrepid young woman enters this universal temple and unwinds the skein of time. After an encounter with the Mona Lisa and the Italian masters, armed with a key, she releases the secrets -- also desired by a man hot on her heels -- enclosed for more than 150 years in a legendary trunk created by Louis Vuitton. Like a thread stretching across time and space, a hot-air balloon rises above the Cour Carrée. The beautiful unknown woman leaves the Louvre for a far-off destination in pursuit of her destiny. Feather Me

As always, I don't pay much attention on Louis Vuitton clothing; my eyes were on the accessories they were presenting. Once again, the accessories from LV Fall 2012 collection captured my heart...from Sac Plat to feather pin and all the way to feather bag charm. Not only the bird needs its feather, me too...

It's Magical !

I have weird feeling about LV collection each season, either absolutely love it or absolutely hate it. This time I really really love it, Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 collection is very sophisticated and ladylike. Is this a sign that Marc is moving to Dior ??? You can watch the entire show here.

Strange Core Value

I don't know how you feel about this Louis Vuitton's new core value campaign with Angelina Jolie but I think it's weird. It's kinda an oxymoron to use the poor (and poor country) to promote luxury product. And the description of the video is even weirder -

"Core Values celebrates Vuitton's timeless classics in real situations on 'real' people - meaning celebrities rather than models - and runs alongside their seasonal 'fashion' campaigns." 

Ummm, to me celebrities are not "real" people...

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 collection looks like a mash-up of Marc Jacobs S/S 2011 + Armani Prive Fall '08 Couture + Studio 54 + Dim-sum waitress. Sorry if anyone finds this collection interesting but it's not my cup of tea... literally.

Something about GUCCI Spring 2011 collection (above) reminds me of Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection (below). Is it the fringe, the African theme, the strong colors or the obi-belt ???
