Fashion and Blackberry

I can't help but notice that fashion people seem to use Blackberry more than iPhone (correct me if I'm wrong.) I, currently use Blackberry, am thinking about to switch to iPhone but not sure which one will suit me better. Any thought ???

Tweet or Talk ???

We text instead of call; tweet instead of talk; Facebook instead of calling old friends. Technology has created new meanings of "communication" but does it mean that we are losing the actual human contact ? Is technology interrupting, or even replacing, your opportunities for real intimacy? Would you rather see "Facebook" than the actual "Face" ? These may be signs that you are tech-aholic...

1. The last time you talked to your mom was via a Facebook wall post.
2. You get more excited about the latest gadgets than a kid does about Disneyland.
3. Instead of going out, you stay home and play Wii.
4. You found out your boyfriend or girlfriend was cheating on you because you checked his or her phone. (Check out the most stylish iPhone cases).
5. Days pass without accomplishing nearly as much as you used to, but you’ve got one heck of a farm going on Farmville!
6. You see nothing wrong with responding to a text in the middle of a romantic dinner.
7. You flirt more via text than in person.
8. You know the answers to all of your date's get-to-know-you questions because you've studied his (or her) Facebook and Twitter profiles.
9. You have at least three email accounts—and check them daily.
10. You Instant Message your roommate or partner…when you’re both at home.
11. You walk to the beat of your own drum, but only because you always have your headphones on and turned up to blast.
12. Thanks to your DVR,catching up on the latest TV shows and movies has replaced catching up on you and your significant other's days. (Check out amazing products inspired by hit shows, like Gossip Girl, Project Runway, Grey's Anatomy, Glee and The Office.)
13. A cool new phone app stops you in your tracks no matter what you’re doing.
14. The most intimate sentiments between you and that special someone are usually sent via text or email.
15. Winks, pokes, and nudges are now only the virtual kind.

Been There, Done That

I think we've all done this, do something that we shouldn't do after a few cocktails. There are so many times that I regret e-mailing exes, friends, etc. after a long night out. The things worse than misspelling was the angry contents in the e-mails. That's why Google invented their new feature called "Mail Goggles." The experimental program requires any user who enables the function to perform five simple math problems in 60 seconds before sending e-mails between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. on weekends. SOURCE

It's Still Not PRADA, honey !!!

While American still doesn't have LG PRADA phone, LG is releasing the next best thing - Voyager, with a similarly sleek form factor and an equally elegant touchscreen. While the Voyager is heavier than PRADA - 4.7 ounces versus three - you get something useful for that extra weight: a foldout keyboard for texting and e-mailing the old-fashioned way, including Verizon's full suite of speedy V Cast options, a respectable 2.0 megapixel camera, and the VZ Navigator GPS service, which gives you a little vibration when you've reached the right spot. LG VX10000 will be available in November; price has not yet been set, but expect to pay significantly less than the $500 it costs to import the LG Prada. But remember, it's still not PRADA. SOURCE

Green Car

Hyundai Europe's Design and Technical Center in Russelsheim, Germany partnered with GE Plastics in the Netherlands to create the plastic car called "QarmaQ". One of the key features is its innovative use of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles to create a large portion of the vehicle’s skin. GE says the use of plastics, instead of more traditional metal and glass, gives the vehicle a 130-pound weight savings. That weight loss equates to 20 gallons a year savings in gas, not to mention fewer plastic bottles clogging up the local landfill. The Green theme extends further as the vehicle use less paint and other chemicals that create massive amounts of greenhouse gases. Hyundai said some of the production techniques used in the QarmaQ could roll out beginning with the 2008 model year. But how safe is the plastic car when there is an accident ??
