WTF

Over 400 Lativans have signed a letter addressed to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich asking him to buy their country. The letter, posted by an unknown person on the petitionline.com website, reads, "Dear Roman Abramovich. As you may already know our homeland Latvia went bankrupt and is currently holding talks with the International Monetary Fund on the sale of our country for 7.5 billion euros ($10.7 billion)." Latvia has experienced the worst economic decline in the European Union, with the country's GDP declining for a third quarter this year by 4.6% against the same period last year. Earlier in the year some 2,000 Latvian residents, the country has a population of around 2.3 million, posted a petition on the internet asking the government of Sweden "to occupy" their country. Better To Give

"It's better to give than receive" is not just a corny say, try it for yourself and you'll know. It's the different kind of happiness. You can give to people you know and love or you can give to people who are less fortunate. This Christmas, let's make a donation to your local organization. For many of us who can afford the luxury goods, remember that one LV wallet ($300) can provide a scholarship for one child to complete 3-years of middle school. After you done, you can share your experience here.

God Bless...

Little Did You Know

I've heard many people call the city of Paris - "The City of Light." I'm very curious to know why, so I googled it. Here is the answer I found.
"Paris has many nicknames, but its most famous is "The City of Light" (La Ville-lumière), a name it owes both to its fame as a center of education and ideas and its early adoption of street lighting."

Better Late Than Never

Amazing !!!!

Anyone who watched the opening ceremony of Summer Olympic in Beijing agree that this opening ceremony was amazing. The choreography, performers, costumes are flawless..
My favorite set was the LED drummers. More than 15,000 performers were used in the event and none of them performed twice. Now, I know why they called the country - The PEOPLE's Republic of China.
