Mi Adidas

Adidas offers their "mi adidas" program (pronounced as "my adidas") allows customers to customize their own shoes. To start, your feet's length and width are measure down to a tenth of a millimeter right there at the store, allowing you to have different sized shoes for left and right. Adidas offers the Barricade IV (and for women, the ClimaCool Divine), from which each customer picks the shoe's cosmetic design: various parts of the sole, the upper, the eyelets, and the tongue all have different colors, while a country flag can be embroidered on the tongue and up to 10 characters printed on the outer side sole of each shoe. Mi adidas is available at adidas performance stores in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. The fitting and color-choosing takes between 20-30 minutes, and the shoes will be shipped in about four weeks. SOURCE

John Galliano has set to release his first perfume called, "John Galliano." The perfume will be consisted of flowers, particularly of rose, peony, iris with its powdery side, violet and of transparence." John Galliano debuts exclusively at Harrods at the end of September 2008 and in Germany. It will launch on Oct 11 in France exclusively at Sephora and a few days later in Switzerland.

The "Paris x New York City artist series t-shirts" which were made for the "Colette x Gap" concept store, that will be opening its doors on September 6th in New York City. Each t-shirt is designed by one Parisian artist and one New York artist together - a group of Paris-based artists have come up with design concepts that a group of New York artists completed. The line-up includes t-shirts by Artus x Peter Arkle, Miss Tic x Claw Money, Jean-Philippe Delhomme x Ruben, Thomas Lelu x Tobias Wong, Genevieve Gauckler x Eric Elms and Andre x Neckface. SOURCE
