To celebrate the 2008 Beijing Olympics, jeweler Roberto Coin has created a few unique pieces including a $31,000 golden sneaker. The sneaker is made of 24 karat gold varnished nappa leather which is then coated with a PVC lacquered film. It is finished off with an 18K yellow gold clasp and Coin's signature small ruby. SOURCE
