These images are organized into an electronic daily calendar, featuring a new work of art every day for the year 2010 and beyond. Curators include: Shamim M. Momin, Nancy Spector, Zaha Hadid, Klaus Beisenbach, Raf Simons, Herzog & de Meuron, James Franco, Natalie Portman and Tilda Swinton.
Founded in 2009 by Shamim M. Momin and Christine Y. Kim, LAND is a non-profit public art initiative committed to commissioning and producing site and situation specific projects with national and international artists, in Los Angeles and beyond.

An American sculptor Tara Donovan transforms everyday objects, such as plastic drinking straws and paper plates, into remarkable pieces of artwork. Her sculptures will be displayed at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston through Jan 4. SOURCE
