Stay Home For Halloween
People are encouraged to stay home for this Halloween, don't come to the Castro. The hundreds of thousands of people who usually attend an annual Halloween street party in the Castro are being warned to stay home or go elsewhere after several episodes of violence in recent years. City officials have advised through fliers, public service announcements and juvenile probation officers that they won't find many treats in the Castro District, home in past years to the largest Halloween happening in the San Francisco Bay area. What they will find are hundreds of extra police officers, shuttered restaurants, stepped up sobriety checks and no bus or train service after 8:30 p.m. The party attracted 200,000 people last year, and nine people were shot toward the end of the night. Four people were stabbed at the party in 2002.

My Fantasy is Fulfilled
I'm sure everybody has fantasized about hot firemen and he is one of the reason why. Michael Biserta is a super hot FDNY fire man who showed off his super hung hose on "guy gone wild" video (of course, NSFW) and also is on the cover of FDNY fundraising calendar. Now you can get the full 12-month calendar just only him. Enjoy...

Don't Shoot The Messenger...
- David Beckham is reported to have driven off with the last available $850,000 Lamborghini Murcielago by Versace. Only 20 of the limited addition cars were ever produced. The project was a one-off collaboration between Gianni Versace SpA and Lamborghini.
- The Sundance Channel announced it has secured the U.S. broadcast rights to the documentary Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton, expected to air in February. The behind the scenes expose is a candid film by Loïc Prigent that captures the celebrated 44-year-old fashion designer at work at one of the world’s largest luxury brands.
Jackpot
Something strange just happened to me. Normally, when I come home from work, I always walk the same route everyday. Today - for some reason, the reason that I want to buy a lotto and hit the jackpot - I decided to change my route which made me ran into someone who was with somebody. I do believe things happened for reasons. Normally I don't know what those reason were until later but this time I know right away.
What if, I decided to walk the same route
What if, I walked 10 seconds faster
What if, I left work later
What if, The train came earlier
What if, I stopped to have something to eat
What if...
Sometime smart people does stupid things. Hopefully, this would be the last straw for me...

Before The Show...
Fashion show venues from Spring/Summer ’08 ready-to-wear shows in Paris and Milan are fast becoming as much a spectacle as the shows themselves. Here are the empty looks that hard to be seen. (Above: McQueen; Below: Gucci, Prada and Fendi) SOURCE

An Early Christmas Present
From pink seating to pink champagne; Karl Lagerfeld has created the most expensive item in Harrods' Christmas offering, a £70,000 (around $143,380) made-to-order guitar case for Dom Perignon. Fashioned from softest perch skin and lined with lambskin, the case holds six bottles of rare Dom Perignon Rose Vintages and three Champagne glasses (basically, 2 bottles per person.) Every person who purchases one will receive a private Champagne tasting session with a member of the Dom Perignon winemaking team - either in their home, or at the brand's headquarters in France. Even you can't afford it, you can check it out in Harrods' Room of Luxury starting November 1st. SOURCE
The Great Wall of Fendi
Finally, it happened. Karl Lagerfeld presented fashion show on the Great Wall of China on Friday (local time.) Eighty eight models strutted down a catwalk constructed on a raised platform on a restored part of the Wall to Euro-Trance music, showing off a colorful mix of furs and silks complete with belt buckles and Fendi's signature "Baguette" bags. The event was supposed to have been held in May, but was then pushed back. The permit to hold the show only came through six weeks ago, even though it had been planned for over a year. SOURCE

It's Still Not PRADA, honey !!!
While American still doesn't have LG PRADA phone, LG is releasing the next best thing - Voyager, with a similarly sleek form factor and an equally elegant touchscreen. While the Voyager is heavier than PRADA - 4.7 ounces versus three - you get something useful for that extra weight: a foldout keyboard for texting and e-mailing the old-fashioned way, including Verizon's full suite of speedy V Cast options, a respectable 2.0 megapixel camera, and the VZ Navigator GPS service, which gives you a little vibration when you've reached the right spot. LG VX10000 will be available in November; price has not yet been set, but expect to pay significantly less than the $500 it costs to import the LG Prada. But remember, it's still not PRADA. SOURCE

$120 Miliion Dollars Woman
Madonna is close to leaving her long-time Warner Bros. Records label for a wide-ranging $120 million deal with concert promotion firm Live Nation Inc. The story was first reported on the Wall Street Journal's Web site, which said Madonna would receive a mix of cash and stock in exchange for allowing Live Nation to distribute three studio albums, promote concert tours, sell merchandise and license her name. A Live Nation spokesman declined comment, a source familiar with Warner confirmed the basic details of the report. The paper, quoting people briefed on the Live Nation deal, said the package includes a general advance of $17.5 million and advance payments for three albums of $50 to $60 million. SOURCE
