Move over ScarJo, may I present Mikhail S. Gorbachev, the last president of the Soviet Union, for Louis Vuitton ads. This new ads campaign is part of a campaign to emphasize the company’s heritage in luggage and travel accessories. Photographed by Annie Leibovitz, the ads include other celebrities using Vuitton bags: Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf cuddling in a hotel room, their bags not yet unpacked; Catherine Deneuve resting on a trunk in front of a steaming locomotive; and Mr. Gorbachev in the back of a car with a duffel bag on the seat next to him.

London Underground banned an advertisement for Gay Times magazine because it was considered too raunchy. Ironically, the magazine is using the image to promote their August issue marking the 40th ­anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality. SOURCE

Did you remember Carlos Santana's song "Game of Love" with Michelle Branch?
The original version was the duet with Tina Turner, yes you heard it right. But don't wait too long, in October Carlos will release "Ultimate Santana," a greatest-hits disc, will be the "Game of Love" song - one version featuring Branch, and one featuring Turner. The hit song was originally included on Santana's 2002 disc, "Shaman," the follow-up to his multi-Grammy, multiplatinum disc "Supernatural." Santana had asked Turner to sing on the song and she obliged and recorded the vocals to the track. But Santana says that executives at his record label at the time apparently weren't interested in having Turner on the track. SOURCE

My Wish List...

I always have a love-hate relationship with Prada; one season "I hate it" and the next "I love it" or I hate the clothes but love the accessories. Here is the perfect example: I hate the clothes of their Fall collection which I think they look like they came out of the caveman's closet but the bags are to die for. This patent leather bag will make you look like a million bucks and it's even more gorgeous in person.
