This Is My Kind Of Church

Another reason to visit Czech Republic. The local firm, Qubus Studio, had a chance to renovate the baroque St. Bartholomew's Church in the Eastern Bohemian village of Chodovice in Czech Republic. The designers, Maxim Velcovsky and Jakub Berdych, replaced the old fashion benches with an "army" of white Verner Panton chairs - with crosses punched into the backs, on the ground are Persian rugs - typically a staple of Muslim shrines. The walls of the central nave are stripped of layers of paint, exposing a rawness intended to reveal the building's history. And the otherwise traditional chandeliers are made of rought-cut crystal. Here is the good way to bring "Gays" back to church. SOURCE
