Earthquake Report

An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 with its epicenter in western Laos was reported Wednesday afternoon by the U.S. Geological Survey, and the shakes were felt as far away as the Thai capital of Bangkok, several hundred kilometers to the south. There were no initial reports of damage or casualties. The quake occurred at 3:56 p.m. (0856 GMT) at a point 155 kilometers (97 miles) west-northwest of the Laotian city of Luang Prabang, said the USGS.

Madonna has written a new song titled "Hey You," which was produced by Pharrell Williams and Madonna and recorded in London. Madonna will perform "Hey You" as one of the headliners for Live Earth U.K. at Wembley Stadium in London on July 7, as part of the 24-hour, seven-continent Live Earth concert series. You can download the song free on MSN and they will donate 25 cents for each of the first 1 million downloads to the Alliance for Climate Protection, in support of Live Earth.

Just When I Thought I Had Nobody

As you see that I haven't blogged since Tuesday morning. I had a big presentation for my school project which was due yesterday. I was working on the presentation board all day Tuesday with some basic microsoft program. It looked very good on the computer screen but very pixelated when it's printed out (which by the way it was 9 PM). I freaked out and called my friend, Andy who is a god sent, for help about Adobe Photoshop. He promised to come over the next day around 7 AM and help me out around 2 hours before he went to work. I finished my work just before I headed out to present at school and everything worked out well from that.
Andy - I can't thank you any more and you just gave me another reason to love you (as a friend, BTW).

I Heart S.F.

This is one of the reason why I love San Francisco. The heatwave just hit the city from Sunday until Tuesday and today, the temperature was up to around 90° (I know it's not that hot but we're spoiled here). Today the temperature goes down to around 60°, which is good for me because I'm not quite ready for Spring yet.
