How to Wear a Fedora

Another fashion tips from Detail magazine on how to wear a fedora and not looking like a "Tool."

1. "You have to feel like you own that piece," says Kevin Harter, menswear fashion director at Bloomingdale's.
2. If you're in your twenties, you can get away with the casual fedora but try to keep the rest of your outfit simple. Otherwise you might look like Pete Wentz.
3. If you're in your late thirties or early forties, a classic gray fedora can be pair with a suit.
3. A fedora shouldn't be perched high on your crown or squashed down on your brow. It should frame your eyes but not hide your face.
4. "Stick with smaller brims, or you run the risk of looking like Oscar Wilde."
says Banana Republic creative director Simon Kneen.

I can't help but wonder... Was I Cool or Tool ??

Tool. You left out that you need the rest of your clothes to match the style of a fedora. T-shirt + fedora = tool.
