I read an interview with the screenwriter and a story this week in which various people depicted in the film raise hell over what the guy did with their characters. Looks to me like he played fast and loose with the facts and with ethics. He showed some people the script and let them veto dialogue. Others, like Daley and Warn Christefor, were left in the dark. Christefor had to find out about the film from his tailor and wasn't contacted about the script until the day they were going to shoot his character's scenes. Maybe it's just not reasonable to think HBO would hire anybody with brains or ethics to do one of these things.
