REI For H&M

Designer Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcon will design a one-time collection for H&M. Kawakubo will create collections for women, men, a few children's pieces and accessories. A unisex fragrance will also be included in the mix, which will launch in November in Tokyo to coincide with the opening of H&M's second store there. It will be available internationally a few days later. SOURCE

Interview with Ms. Kawakubo

Rei Kawakubo, the iconic Japanese designer and founder of Comme des Garçons, says that she works in fashion and not art. Although many people are big fans of her works, she became a worldwide phenomenon when she did the collaborations with Louis Vuitton and H&M. Interview magazine recently sat down and talked to Ms. Kawakubo.
