Daddy Dearest

David Archuleta's dad, Jeff Archuleta has been banned from rehearsals. Jeff was told this week by producers that he can no longer join David as he prepares for the show. Jeff Archuleta's intense backstage involvement had become a source of concern for the series. Despite a warning, Jeff Archuleta insisted on altering "Stand by Me," one of two songs his son sang on the show Tuesday. By adding a verse from Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls," the father incurred additional costs for "American Idol." SOURCE

Clips of The Day...

Although David Archuleta is, and will be, my number one AI contestant, I think the performance of David Cook's "Hello" was the best of last night. SOURCE

And here is my boy, david Archuleta's "Another Day in Paradise."

Battle of Two Davids

I predict that there will be 2 Davids in the final two, David Archuleta and David Cook. My little David A. is back on the top again with his performance last night. MEDIA SOURCE

David Archuleta:

David Cook:

Is that Alexander McQueen scarf over your neck, Michael Johns? I'm wondering which gay helped you with that outfit? May be you should introduce him to Carly Smithson.

Clip of The Day...(Revised)

David Cook keeps getting better and better. Last night was another one of his best performance on American Idol by singing The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby." And what happened with my boy, David Archuleta ? He was a mess last night, he should stick with what he does best, ballad...

Updated: The Seattle band "DOXOLOGY" claimed they recorded this version of the track a year and a half ago. You'll be the judge...

Clip of The Day...

I never liked this song until today. The projected winner of American Idol season 7 - David Archuleta. sang 'A Thousand Miles.' You'll be hearing me talking about him for quite awhile. And wait a minutes, he's already had a fansite.

Idol Top 3

Over the weekend, I just had the conversation with my friends that who are going to be in the top three of American Idol. Here is my prediction;

1. David Archuleta - he's talented and a sweetheart.

2. David Cook - he's original.

3. Jason Castro - he's good in his pot world.

A Star is Born

Last night Simon said David Archuleta was a knockout and I couldn't agree more. Here are his performances in order of my favorite.

" I wanna be in this moment,
No one can take it from me
I wanna stay in this moment,
No one can take it away from me. "

- In This Moment -

Don't let the sun go down on me"

"In this moment"

"Imagine"

Clip of The Day...

Then and now....David Archuleta sang "Imagine" at age 13 and on American Idol at age 17.
Isn't it obvious that he's going to be the next American Idol ? He's in the different league from everybody else and yet he's still humbled.

Clip of The Day...

My little David Archuleta delivered the beautiful song "Here it goes," which is the best of tonight. Thanks god that David Cook altered "I don't want to miss a thing" and made it sounds less than perfect.

Idol Round Up

Who do you think gave the best performance last night?
It was another good week for my David Archuleta, sang Robbie Williams' "Angels".

Surprisingly, I like this version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by Jason Castro. MEDIA SOURCE

Work It Better

Here is the better version of David Archuleta's performance “We Can Work It Out,” which is available on iTune. SOURCE

WTF

How did David Archuleta lose "American Idol" title when all of his 3 performances last night were better than David Cook?

David's Crush

I don't care for the video but I've got to post it because I Love this boy. New music video of David Archuleta - Crush. Look like it's inspired by the commercial of Abercrombie & Fitch Kids, Hollister, American Eagle, and something like that...

I Told You So

I hate to say "I told you so" but the final two of American Idol will be between David Cook and David Archuleta. I think you already know who is my pick.
