One night while walking home from the bar, he was approached by a group of men near the intersection of 14th Street and First Avenue. The guys started to taunt Aviance and they started throwing garbage and trash cans at him, then became enraged and dragged him to the curb, kicking him at least 15 times in the face. By the time the attack was over, Aviance had a broken jaw, a fractured knee, neck injuries and no doubt psychological trauma that will last for years.

Solstice is the moment Earth's tilt faces exactly directly towards or away from the Sun. The name is derived from Latin solstitium. During the year, the position of the Sun seen from Earth moves North and South. When it changes direction it stands still momentarily. So solstices are those moments of the year when the Sun reaches its southernmost or northernmost position, at the Tropic of Capricorn or Tropic of Cancer.
