"In a city of infinite options, sometimes there's no better feeling than knowing you only have one"

- Carrie Bradshaw -

Hot Canadian

Nothing is cuter than a guy who is not afraid to show his soft side by singing jazz. Michael Bublé is a good example and the fact that he's Canadian, makes him even hotter.

Quote of the day

"They're nothing. They have nothing. They hold no interest whatsoever for anybody. They're reality-red-carpet, lip-synching television stars. We were going to try and make the Simpsons look cool. I realize now that is an impossible task."

Quote of the day

" One of the best films I ever saw...I wish that they would take this movie and force these assholes from the religious right, these perverts, these Taliban mother-f-ers, who want to sit there, and tell gay people they can't get married...It shows you how, when gays have to be closeted, how they ruin the lives of women, and families. Everyone goes through hell. "

Howard Stern on "Brokeback Mountain"

I want "ipod" at 3 AM

You got it...Apple's midtown Manhattan store will be the first store which will be open 24 hours a day. The store, located in the underground retail plaza of the General Motors Building on Fifth Avenue between 58th and 59th Street will also be the first stores to offer customers an iPod Bar.

The 25,000-square-foot store will dwarf Apple's SoHo location and will be capped by a 32-foot glass cube that will stand in front of the building and house the stairs and elevators that will take customers underground to the Apple retail store. The construction of the store will be completed in April, with the store expected to open by the end of May.

Madonna - " Sorry "

World premiere Madonna's new video - "Sorry"

Here are the remix versions of "Sorry"

My wish list...

These may look like a typical shoes, but they're made from 18th-century leather that was discovered in a shipwreck off Britain's south coast (seriously...). Before it sank, the stash of reindeer hide had been treated with yeast and wood liquor to make it supple, strong, and waterproof, and it's now being lovingly made into shoes by master Brit cobblers New & Lingwood. Hurry up !! only 60 pairs left for $1,580 each. www.newandlingwood.com

" Sorry " or " Pitiful"

" I don't spend time I used to when I was single having a massage or a facial. I do things when it's an emergency - when I look like a man, I have a wax! "

Gwyneth Paltrow told British magazine she doesn't get the same "me-time" as she did since she's married and has a baby. Poor girl...she just know how to irritate people.

Scientists turned Sperm cells into Eggs

Don't be too excited, It's for fish only...

"Madge" VS "Mimi"

Mariah, who is nominated for eight Grammys, "really wanted to open the show with her choir-backed rendition of 'We Belong Together,'" source. Madonna, 5-times winner, also wanted to kick off the broadcast; or else she wasn't coming.

Even though Madonna's smash "Confessions on a Dancefloor" wasn't nominated for any Grammys, the producer think her dance extravaganza, featuring the British group Gorillaz, will draw a lot of viewers. We have to wait until tomorrow to see who is the biggest Diva.

Anatomy of a Classic: Trench Coat

From Greta Garbo, Katharine Hepburn to Lucy Liu and Amber Valletta. Trench Coat has been conquerred Hollywood and fashion industries for more than a century.
It started as a practical weatherproof overcoat. But over the time, the trench has outlasted every trend and won over ever new generation. With their high collars, snug belts and plentiful straps and buckles; Burberry's gabardine topcoats were standard issue for British officers in World War I. Since then Trench coat underwent a metamorphosis by many designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Karl Lagerfeld. Deconstruction never looked so good.

Does anyone notice this ?

Scary Movie's chick is in Brokeback Mountain.
Anna Faris is known to audiences worldwide for her starring role as hapless heroine Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie film series. She plays a friend of Lureen (Anne Hathaway) whom her husband seduces Jack (Jake) to visit his "cabin".
She's also in Lost in Translation?? Tom Brady's The Hot Chick, and Lucky McKee's May (which premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival).

Mr. Lagerfeld is the Genious

Does Karl Lagerfeld ever sleep? Already designing 8 collections a year for Chanel and Fendi, Karl are creating 2 more lines which he teams up with Tommy Hilfiger who bought Mr. Lagerfeld's line in December 2004. The lines are called, whatelse, " Karl Lagerfeld" - designed by a team in New York and "Lagerfeld Collection" - designed by Mr. Lagerfeld in Paris.
How can he be so creative? May be he should give some advice to Miuccia Prada...

Don't shoot the messenger

  • Mariah to duet with Janet Jackson ?
  • Madonna will perform (with Gorillaz) for Grammy on Feb 8
  • Jennifer Garner is pregnant again
  • Now we know that Katie Holmes is really pregnant (not stuffing her belly with pillow like everyone thought).

Gender Ambiguous

Spring is not even here yet, do I have to start shopping for Fall afready ? Paris Menwear Fall 2006 has begun. The clothes are quite nice but, to me, some of them don't look like Menwear (which I don't have any problem with). you'll be the judge. Clockwise from top left; Dior Homme, Gaultier, YSL, Issey
