Quote of the Day

" Maybe the past is like an anchor holding us back.
Maybe, you have to let go of who you were
to become who you will be. "

The Science of Life

Cameron Alborzian is an Iranian/British model turned yogi-Lifestyle coach" who once featured in Madonna's "Express Yourself" music video. He's not just a pretty face, he can actully change your life from within. Cameron went to Kerala, India - the birthplace of yoga and Ayurveda to study the technique. Ayurveda (means "Science of Life") is the oldest medicine which has been around over 5000 years old in India. It's based on the theory that the body comprises three elements - vata (air), pitta (fire) and kapha (water/earth.) All disease has a cause root where it starts out from. Disease first starts as a mental thought and will continue to become physical if thought pattern is not changed. Any disease can be cured as long as the cause root is treated.

Quote of the Day

" Truly great friends are hard to find,
difficult to leave,
and impossible to forget. "

Soaking Wet

It's raining today, nothing unusual for San Francisco in January. The rain makes me too lazy to go to the gym (or just an excuse.)

WTF

This may be the craziest thing I've ever heard, beside the selling of Latvia. In September 1998, professor Igor Panarin predicted the collapse of the U.S. in 2010. He based the forecast on classified data supplied to him by FAPSI analysts. He predicts that economic, financial and demographic trends will provoke a political and social crisis in the U.S. When the going gets tough, he says, wealthier states will withhold funds from the federal government and effectively secede from the union. Social unrest up to and including a civil war will follow.
The U.S. will then split along ethnic lines, and foreign powers will move in.
California will form the nucleus of what he calls "The Californian Republic," and will be part of China or under Chinese influence. Texas will be the heart of "The Texas Republic," a cluster of states that will go to Mexico or fall under Mexican influence. Washington, D.C., and New York will be part of an "Atlantic America" that may join the European Union. Canada will grab a group of Northern states Prof. Panarin calls "The Central North American Republic." Hawaii, he suggests, will be a protectorate of Japan or China, and Alaska will be subsumed into Russia.

Catch of the Day

The first catch of 2009 is a new face from DNA model management - Baptiste Giabiconi. He will appear along side Jerry Hall in a new CHANEL handbag campaign inspired by Colette's Chéri novel, about the relationship between a young man and a woman almost twice his age. He's also featured in recent ten-minute silent short film about Coco Chanel.
