Shopping has never caused so much guilt to many people (including me) until now. During the recession, many people, who can afford to shop and still like to shop, prefer to go shopping under the radar. "There is certainly a stigma to spending openly in this economy. These people don’t want to appear flippant by disregarding the woes of the economy, but they still want to get their shop on, and they’re going to find a way." said Eric Spangenberg, a consumer psychologist and the dean of the business school at Washington State University.
