In the heart of downtown San Francisco on the corner of Market and Kearny Streets, The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, San Francisco will occupy the West Coast's first skyscraper. Originally commissioned by publisher M.H. de Young in 1890, the building served as the offices of the San Francisco Chronicle. The building is undergoing a $90 million restoration and will include 49 Club Residences and 52 Whole-Ownership Residences. First phase occupency scheduled for Nov. 07; pricing starts from $1.1 million to more than $4.5 million.
