No "Birkin" for Ms. Birkin

British born singer/actress Jane Birkin ditched her oversized famous Hermes Birkin bag claiming that it was responsible for her tendonitis.

The bag was specially designed for her in the eighties after she accidentally spilled the contents of her too-small bag onto the Hermes designer on a plane. It soon became a must have status symbol and sold for around $6,000.00.

Birkin was quoted as saying ... “That bloody thing. I told Hermes they were mad to make it. My one was always full and it ended up giving me tendonitis.”

Barkin lived most of her professional life in France and is best known for her erotic song "Je T'aime Moi Non Plus."

Scientology vs. South Park

Matt Stone and Trey Parker, creators of South Park are digging in against the celebrity-endorsed religion after a controversial episode mocking outspoken Scientologist Tom Cruise was yanked abruptly from the schedule Wednesday with an Internet report saying it was covert warfare by Cruise that led to its departure.

"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies... You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail!"

For those of you who never seen it, we have it here.

I thought I can move on

I thought I was not going to write anything about "Brokeback Mountain". When this music video came across, I can't help myself. Song by James Blunt - Goodbye My Lover is so perfect.

What make you gay?

Lesley Stahl of 60 minutes explored the current state of thinking over what makes someone gay or straight. The Malcontent has the video. For me, I don't remember what or when. I just know when I saw Linda Carter in Wonder Woman, I want to be her. Isn't it obvious ??

Hot or Not

What do you think? Naomi, Charlize and Lauren; they're on the borderline. Except the green dress, there is no doubt about this.

Speechless

The Oscar goes to...

Tonight The "Gays" will be watching the Acadamy Awards to see whether this year will make the history or not. With the biggest and most controversial movie of the year "Brokeback Mountain", I'm hoping for best Picture, Director and Adapted Screenplay. And don't forget Philip Seymour Hoffman for "Capote".

The reason to be alive...

That reason is to help the others. I just watch Oprah interviewed UNICEF Ambassador, Lucy Liu. She traveled to the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan to visit with survivors from October 8, 2005 earthquake that killed 73,000 and left 3.3 million people in the region homeless. Click here to make an online donation in support UNICEF's relief efforts.

Restroom is for making out

This photo shoot from Joe Oppedisano for PREF magazine, took place in the restroom of Splash Bar in NY. It reminds me of my last trip there, except I wasn't wearing leather. More photos on "Beautiful" blog

Lessons to be learned

Before you write something about Tom Cruise (eventhough it's true) you should have the proof; otherwise, he'll sue you. It's being reported that Tom Cruise might be thinking about perhaps suing Life & Style and biographer Andrew Morton. Here are the lessons from the past
  • The wrestler: Cruise sued Chad Slater (an "erotic wrestler" who goes by the name Kyle Bradford) for $100 million. Verdict: Cruise wins (but not for full amount).
  • The sex coach: Cruise sued the Star tabloid for a story claiming they had "needed a sex coach for their steamy scenes in Stanley Kubrick's film, Eyes Wide Shut." Verdict: settled, retraction printed.
  • The Cruise cruise: In 2001, Cruise sued Bold magazine publisher Michael Davis, who had offered a $500-million bounty for "compromising photos of Cruise cruising," and claimed to have obtained a "videotape of Cruise in flagrante homo delicto." Verdict: The magazine retracts and "Cruise dropped his suit in exchange for a promise from Davis to never again state or imply that Cruise is anything but a heterosexual."
  • The impotence: Cruise sued the British newspaper The Express in 1998 after it "alleged that Cruise was either impotent or sterile." Verdict: The paper paid £350,000 and apologized.
  • The coincindence?: Cruise considered suing the German magazine Bunte for saying he has a zero sperm count. Verdict: calls off suit when "executives died in plane crash."
Suggestion for Tom; after 2 hetero-marriages and series of dating hot actresses, people still saying that you're gay. May be it's time for you to stay quiet for the rumors, if it's only the rumors.

Soccer players

They're the reason why soccer is so popular.
I still can't decide who's hotter, Michael Owen or David Beckham ??
