I'm Watching You...

Google Maps offers new feature, 360° street-level view. Personally, I think it's cool but a little freaky that someone who lives across the world can see my front door. What do you think?

Lazy Sunday

I wish... Actually I'm heading to the gym. For this summer, my goal is to have six-packed, which I never had and also to lose extra fat I've gained in the last month.

Orange and Apple

I'm upset about American Idol last night, here is why,
-
They're both different, between great vocal (Jordan) and complete package (Blake) - like orange and apple
- The song "This is my now" is clearly suited Jordan more than Blake
- Paula need to brush her hair
- Chris Daughtry wore more eyeliner than my mom

Sadly to say, but I think Jordan will win AI tonight...

Clip of the Day

Forget the Iraq war, "The View" has a new war between Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, which ironically regarding the war. Normally they argue about their different on politic issues but this morning, thing gets personal. Watch the full clip at TMZ.

Narcissism and NPD

Narcissism describes the character trait of self love. The word is derived from a Greek myth. Narcissus was a handsome Greek youth who rejected the desperate advances of the nymph Echo. As punishment, he was doomed to fall in love with his own reflection in a pool of water. Unable to consummate his love, Narcissus pined away and changed into the flower that bears his name, the narcissus. In psychology and psychiatry, excessive narcissism is recognized as a severe personality dysfunction or personality disorder, most characteristically Narcissistic Personality Disorder, also referred to as NPD. Narcissistic personality disorder is characterized by extreme focus on oneself, and is a maladaptive, rigid, and persistent condition that may cause significant distress and functional impairment. This Is My Kind Of Church

Another reason to visit Czech Republic. The local firm, Qubus Studio, had a chance to renovate the baroque St. Bartholomew's Church in the Eastern Bohemian village of Chodovice in Czech Republic. The designers, Maxim Velcovsky and Jakub Berdych, replaced the old fashion benches with an "army" of white Verner Panton chairs - with crosses punched into the backs, on the ground are Persian rugs - typically a staple of Muslim shrines. The walls of the central nave are stripped of layers of paint, exposing a rawness intended to reveal the building's history. And the otherwise traditional chandeliers are made of rought-cut crystal. Here is the good way to bring "Gays" back to church. SOURCE

Shu Shines

Shu Uemura - I heard that name before I admitted that I'm Gay; back then it was more about cosmetic than the skincare lines. I just had a chance to try their cleansing oil which left me nothing but baby-butt skin. Used on dry face, this two-in-one cleanser and makeup remover helps maintain the skin's integral balance while thoroughly rids skin of impurities. Leaves skin smooth and soft without stripping skin of its natural oils.

Diesel Flagship L.A.

Just in time for my trip to L.A.; Diesel just opened their flagship store at 8401 Melrose Place. The 3,500-square-foot space was chosen to express Diesel's design aesthetic more freely with exposed wood beams, austere cement floors, moody lighting, and towering Gothic front doors (recovered from a castle) - not to mention a denim wall that's embellished with hardware from the cockpit of an F-16. And, while the area is already a celeb magnet, the store's May 30 opening party promises to increase the star wattage.

Only In San Francisco

Only in San Francisco that "clothing is optional" for the marathoners. I was thinking about doing Bay to Breaker this year but I didn't because I couldn't take time off from work. I haven't run since I did the marathon in Dec'05 and I promise myself I'll start running again this summer. Here are some pics from the event. SOURCE and SOURCE
Sad news from the event; one man collapsed and died at the finished line.

French Whine

The French are the world's whiniest workers, according to a study that ranks the United States fourth. The Irish, are the least likely to moan, with the Thai next to last, says the FDS research group, which looked at 14,000 workers in 23 nations. "It is interesting to note that after France, Britain and Sweden, the world's biggest workplace whingers are Americans, despite their having by far the highest levels of income," said FDS chief Charlotte Cornish. "Compare them to Thai workers: while real levels of income are more than eight times higher in the States, more workers in the US feel their pay is a problem than in Thailand."

The whiniest:
1. French
2. British
3. Swedish
4. American
5. Australian

The least:
Dutch, Thai and Irish

Pricey Shades

Since when that a pair of sunglasses is the same price as one month rent. As much as I love high-end designers' clothes and accessories, but I think it's ridiculous. (Above: Louis Vuitton - $600)

Bulgari - $650, Chanel - $590

Judith Leiber - $700 and $775
